Leo Aldridge has been a public defender in Brooklyn and Puerto Rico, representing thousands of indigent defendants charged with serious felonies including drug trafficking, fraud and money laundering, weapons offenses, among others.
He has had successful results suppressing illegally obtained evidence, has argued and won appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and has been lead counsel on dozens of trials in both New York state courts and Puerto Rico federal courts.

Mr. Aldridge has an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law; a J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Magna Cum Laude; and a B.A. from Boston College. He is currently a lecturer at the Interamerican University School of Law.
Prior to his law career, Mr. Aldridge was a journalist with several Puerto Rican newspapers as well as The Associated Press, winning several awards and interviewing important local and international newsmakers in politics and law.
